Jason Brown has been a true believer in Envision Utah’s mission since he joined the team in 2014. Before becoming CEO in 2025, he served as the organization’s vice president of communications and education, where he led its communications efforts and helped establish and direct the education program and early learning project. He has a particular affinity for the organization’s values research and loves understanding how to connect with the hearts and minds of Utahns on important issues. Over the past decade, he has played a role in nearly all Envision Utah’s projects, leading values research, overseeing major outreach campaigns, managing stakeholder engagement processes, planning and executing events, and contributing significantly to fundraising. He also oversaw the development of—and narrates—Envision Utah’s Your Utah, Your Future podcast. Additionally, he has spent several years as an adjunct professor teaching communications research, writing, and design classes at Brigham Young University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
