Peniel Ibe is the Climate Justice Policy Manager at the National Partnership for New Americans (NPNA). She supports NPNA members on state and local campaigns at the intersection of immigrant rights, climate resilience and a just transition. She currently leads their ongoing local efforts to develop an immigrant-led agenda in response to climate migration and displacement for NPNA's Climate Resilient and Welcoming Cities initiative. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Earlham College and has an MS in Risk, Disaster, and Resilience from University College London.
