Dan Farina Jr., AICP, is a senior freight transportation planner at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC). He works on local freight access studies, movement analysis, and regional coordination and stakeholder engagement through the commission’s Delaware Valley Goods Movement Task Force. He has contributed to projects such as the Freight Futures report and helps incorporate freight into broader transportation and land use planning efforts. His work supports DVRPC’s economic development, mobility, and sustainability goals. He earned his master’s in city planning from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and community development from Rutger’s University – Camden.
