Short Biography
Tyler Bump is a partner and project director at ECOnorthwest who focuses on the intersection of land use planning and real estate investment to support equitable development and growth in large metropolitan areas with a range of local government, private sector, and nonprofit organizations. He has extensive experience conducting regional housing, economic development, land use, and growth scenarios analyses that align with market conditions. Currently, he leads large regional projects in southern Nevada; the Denver, Colorado, region; and Pima County, Arizona. In previous roles as a city staffer, he led the development of the City of Portland’s 2035 Comprehensive Plan Growth Scenarios Report and served on Oregon Metro’s Urban Growth Report Advisory. He earned his MS in urban and regional planning from the University of Colorado Denver and holds a bachelor’s from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
