Short Biography
Keith Bartholomew is a professor of city and metropolitan planning at the University of Utah. He teaches and conducts research on land use law, integrated land use–transportation scenario analysis, and pedestrian- and transit-oriented design. Before coming to Utah, he served as a staff attorney for land use planning advocacy nonprofit 1000 Friends of Oregon and was also the director of its Making the Land Use, Transportation, Air Quality Connection research program evaluating Oregon’s “LUTRAQ” survey project in the 1980s. He holds a JD and a graduate certificate in environmental law from the University of Oregon.
